This fishmonger has traded under the railway bridge at Glasgow Cross for more than forty years. John Gilmore started it after the old fish market, David and Roma Scott bought it in 2013 and opened the Byres Road shop, and there is a tapas pop-up out the back of it now.

“the Fish Plaice has been selling fish for just over four decades and is a Glasgow institution, there's few better places to get some fresh fish and even fresher patter.”
