A.G. Barr makes it at Cumbernauld and sells it as Scotland's other national drink. In 2018 the sugar came down from about ten grams per hundred millilitres to just under five, a petition against the change ran towards thirty thousand names, and Glasgow shops reported customers emptying the fridges of the old recipe before it went.
