Bad Manners
Breakfast burritos out of an Airstream parked among the gravestones at Shoreditch Church, and since the move that is the only thing they make.32
Why go
The operation started in the churchyard at St John at Hackney and moved here in spring 2025, bringing the burritos and dropping everything else. Their own words: We've stripped things back to what we do best. No fuss, no distractions.

Breakfast runs until 12pm, when the kitchen turns over to lunch and the barbacoa specials rotate.2
Order this / avoid
- Order: the egg and bean breakfast burrito, or the sausage one, both before noon.1
- Order: the salsa verde and the salsa de arbol on whatever you get. They are the best part of the tray.1
- Avoid: arriving in the afternoon for breakfast. The menu has already switched.2
What locals & experts say
- Jake Missing, The Infatuation, June 2025, rating 8.0:
The salsa verde and salsa de arbol are particularly good and the tortillas, glistening and translucent in parts, are excellent.
He is harder on the fillings: the breakfast burritoscould do with leaning heavier on the egg
, and the lunchtime beef barbacoa issimilarly tasty, if a little stodgy with white rice

Good to know
- Where: the grounds of Shoreditch Church, 119 Shoreditch High Street E1 6JN. Shoreditch High Street station is two minutes away.
- Booking: none. It is a kiosk.
- Call before you go. The operator's own site describes the Shoreditch site in the present tense, and The Infatuation's listing for the same address says permanently closed. Nobody has published a dated ruling either way.
Verdict
could-visit — An Airstream sits in a churchyard doing one thing. The breakfast burrito runs until noon and then the kitchen switches to barbacoa, and the operator says himself that everything else has been stripped out. Jake Missing scored it 8.0 for The Infatuation and put the praise where it counts, on tortillas 'glistening and translucent in parts' and on the salsa verde and salsa de arbol, while calling the breakfast burritos light on egg and the lunchtime barbacoa stodgy with white rice. That is a good cheap breakfast rather than a destination, which is what the rung says. It would go higher if the published status agreed with itself; right now the operator says trading and The Infatuation's listing says closed, and a reader crossing London should know that before setting off.
