The Garden at 120
Fifteen storeys up on Fenchurch Street, free, no booking, and the lifts go straight there from the street.1
Why go
The City calls it their largest public rooftop space. Latz + Partner designed the planting: 85 Italian wisteria trees, more than thirty fruit trees and a 200ft-long flowing water feature, with seating among it and a kiosk on the level below selling teas, coffees and snacks.1
Come for the garden and the view, not for the food. One kiosk is the entire offer.1

Verdict
could-visit — Fifteen storeys up on top of Fen Court, free, no booking unless you are twelve or more, with dedicated public lifts from street level and 360-degree views over the City. Latz + Partner planted 85 Italian wisteria trees and more than thirty fruit trees around a 200-foot water feature, so you are walking through a real garden and not a terrace with pots. The food is one kiosk on the level below selling teas, coffees and snacks, so nobody should come here to eat. What it is worth is the arithmetic against the paid platforms nearby, and the closing times, which are earlier than people expect.
