The Lexington
Doors at three in the afternoon, and the bar runs to four in the morning from Thursday through Saturday.1
Why go
There has been a pub on this corner since 1850. CAMRA's branch describes the current one as a huge, corner pub in a lounge-style with lots of unusual decor (bordello baroque), a long wooden bar making up one side of a room divided into various levels with comfortable seats and tables plus a old-style table football machine.

Do not read the four handpulls as a range. A member reported in April 2026: There may be four handbills but on fairly regular visits, I've never seen more than two beers on. One is semi-permanently dedicated to a Seacider cider.

Verdict
listed — There has been a pub on this corner of Pentonville Road since 1850, and the current one opens at three in the afternoon and runs to two in the morning, four on Thursday through Saturday. CAMRA's branch describes a long wooden bar down one side, levels of seating, a table football machine and decor it calls bordello baroque. The honest caveat is on the beer: a member reporting in April 2026 had never seen more than two of the four handpulls in use, and one of those is usually given over to a cider. It sits at the bottom of the ladder because nothing anybody has published describes the food, the cooking or the room upstairs that people actually come for.
