Ritual at Manresa
This is not a restaurant. Kinch and the Caviglia brothers hand the old Manresa kitchen to one visiting chef a month, five dinners at a time, and you have to be a member to sit down.
Why go
Manresa closed at the end of 2022 with three Michelin stars, after twenty years.1 David Kinch then put the kitchen back to work on somebody else's terms, with the siblings Juan and Luis Caviglia, who had been running Ritual as chef events at rotating venues. Kinch picks the chefs.1 Ángel León of Aponiente, three stars in Cádiz, cooked the first residency on 17 January 2024. The room seats 48 and tickets started at $450, with wine and non-alcoholic pairings on top.1 The house describes what a residency now looks like: Five dinner nights hosted by celebrated Chefs featuring a 10-12 course menu.

- Membership, not a table. The club sells access, and the cooking belongs to whichever chef is in residence.
- Nothing is scheduled. Season III ran through July 2026 with seven chefs listed, and no dates have been published since.2
