David Kinch earned three MICHELIN Stars at Manresa in Los Gatos, which he closed at the end of 2022 after twenty years. He still runs The Bywater in Los Gatos, a New Orleans room built on his own upbringing, and is a partner in Manresa Bread, with bakeries in Los Gatos, Los Altos, Palo Alto and Campbell. MICHELIN's own Santa Clara County guide opens its eating section on him and calls him the South Bay's standard bearer for more than two decades.
