Sushi Zone
Sushi Zone fed Duboce Triangle from 1815 Market Street from 1997, and the landlord declined to renew the lease in June 2025. The door on my list is 605 Post Street. The operator's own site was still printing the Market Street address in April 2026, ten months after that room shut.
Why go
Astrid Kane put the closing in The San Francisco Standard's year-ender. Twenty-eight years in Mid-Market, out on a lease the landlord would not renew. Dante Buckley plans a multi-storey club called Dante's Inferno across that room and the old Curry Hyuga next door.1
The business's own page does not name 605 Post Street. I have not found anyone who has written about the cooking at either address.
