Whole Foods Market (1150 Ocean Ave)
This is the Ocean Avenue store, and it is trading. The Trinity store at Market and Eighth is a different shop. The chain shut that one in April 2023, after a year.
Why go
It is a supermarket. The useful fact is which supermarket. Joel Umanzor and J.D. Morris reported the Mid-Market closing for the Chronicle. The company said it was shutting the Trinity store for the time being, to keep its staff safe.2 Roland Li reported nine months later that the space had gone on the market to lease.
