Zeitgeist
Forty-three taps and a gravel patio that fills the second the city hits seventy degrees. The Bloody Mary is the famous order, and Jeff drank one and called it solid and not the best he has had.
Why go
Ricky Rodriguez put the rule plainly for the Infatuation: As soon as the temperature hits 70°, friend groups descend to hit the picnic tables in the back patio of this beer garden in the Mission.
1 The board runs everything from German-style hefeweizens to hazy IPAs and 9.5% ABV sours.
His instruction for the interior, which has road signs on the walls, a grimy floor and a billiards table, is to keep walking through it: you're not here to hang out inside, so grab a pitcher and get mingling on the gravel.
Jeff drank here in June 2017 and gave it four stars, with the caveat attached: SF standard for good beer and THE outdoor patio. It can get crowded and noisy.
Order this / avoid
- Order: a pitcher, outside.
- Avoid: ordering the Bloody Mary on its reputation. Jeff's own line: "Famous for their Bloody Mary which is solid, but not the best I've ever had."

Jeff's take (his words)

Verdict
could-visit — The bar pours forty-three taps onto the best beer patio in the Mission, and both voices on this page agree about the patio. Jeff rated it four stars and knocked the Bloody Mary it is famous for, so the recommendation is the gravel and the pitcher rather than the drink everybody photographs. It is a bar, not a kitchen, and the rung says so.
