Bridge Tap House served its last dinner on 15 February 2026, and Dave and Kara Bailey now open the room only for private events.1
Why go
The Baileys opened Bridge on Locust Street in 2010 and ran it for 17 years as a brewpub and wine bar.1 They announced the change on 6 February 2026.1 Bridge shares a wall with their Willow event space, and Willow's catering, which runs from barbecue and taco bars up to plated dinners, now comes across into Bridge.1
What locals & experts say
- Dave Bailey on why he changed it, to Cheryl Baehr, St. Louis Magazine (20 February 2026):
When we do [private events] at Bridge, which is a beautiful room and a great space for 20-60 people, we can staff it, and we know what to expect. We want to drive revenue through that model.

Verdict
listed — The restaurant Jeff saved in 2013 served its last dinner on 15 February 2026, after 17 years. Dave and Kara Bailey kept the room and turned it into a private event house that seats 40 for a plated dinner. There is no table to book and no menu to order from, so it stays on the list as a room you hire and not as a place to eat.
