This is a counter in a Research Boulevard strip in North Austin, and the whole card runs off dough worked in the room. Hand-pulled noodles, hand-folded dumplings, and stewed toppings that change by protein.2 Raphael Brion rates it 8.0 for The Infatuation and puts the strength in the soups. The shop's own menu leads with something else.1 It shares a shopping center with Din Ho, at Ohlen and 183.2
Order this / avoid
- Order the spicy beef suan tsai noodle soup with the pickled greens, which is the bowl Brion names, and ask for extra homemade chili oil to take it to full mala.1
- Add the soup dumplings, and a cucumber salad on the side for brightness against the chili oil.1
- Avoid: the classic dumplings. Brion finds their wrappers thicker than he likes and spends the dumpling order on the soup ones.1
- Avoid: the middle of lunch. It is a small counter in a busy strip, and the queue and the parking are the constraint.

It is worth knowing anyway, because it is the bottom of a run reading 86, 83, 86, 85 and then 71 across the last two years.3
