The Good Lot
A Cedar Park beer garden pouring beer, wine and zero-proof at a counter. The food comes off trucks the venue never names.1
Good to know
- What you get: open since July 2021, counter service, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks, trees, fire tables, cornhole and a kids' playscape, with trucks parked around the edge.2
- Nothing on the record names a dish: the operator's page offers only
food truck eats
and identifies not one trader, no roster appears anywhere, and nobody independent has written about the place beyond a 2021 opening note in the local paper. Check what is parked before you build a plan around dinner.1 - Timing: Monday to Thursday 11am to 9pm, Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm, Sunday noon to 9pm.1
- Who it suits: families and dog owners. There is a kids' playscape, yard games, fire tables and live music, all per the venue.1
- Hygiene: no inspection score exists to show, for the lot or for the trucks. A truck lot is a bar alongside a rotating set of separately permitted mobile vendors, and Austin's published dataset excludes mobile vendors entirely, so absence is not a clean bill of health for the lot or for anyone trading in it.3
- Getting there: West New Hope Drive, Cedar Park, off the 183 corridor.
Verdict
listed — A Cedar Park beer garden that has run since July 2021, open seven days, with counter service for beer and wine, food trucks parked outside, a kids' playscape, fire tables and cornhole under the trees. It is the suburban version of the format Austin invented, and it works on those terms: bring the dog, bring the children, stay for the afternoon. The reason it sits at the bottom rung is that the food is somebody else's and the operator does not say whose. No truck is named on the venue's own page, no independent source has written about the place, and there is nothing here this guide can tell you to order.
