A day out to Windsor
Windsor · 4 stops · 2 legs · 3 with pages
Windsor sits on the Thames west of London, and the two tap rooms are a few minutes' walk apart.
Three saves, and all three of them are drink. Two breweries keep tap rooms a few minutes apart in the town, and Adam Handling's pub is a couple of miles south at Old Windsor, which is a short drive or a long walk down the river road.
Do the castle first if you are doing it at all, then the two tap rooms, then drive out to Old Windsor for the evening. Each room keeps its hours on its own page.
Three rooms carry pages and the castle stands on its own name. None of the three is written up yet, so each page holds a name, a town and a pin, and says nothing at all about the beer.
In the town3
Both tap rooms sit north of the castle, one in a railway arch on Alma Road and one on the Vansittart estate.
