Carnitas Merchant
Carnitas on Avenida Benito Juárez, near the ferry terminal end of the Centro. Jeff saved it and wrote nothing beside it.
Why go
The name is the menu. Carnitas is Michoacán's dish, pork cooked down slowly in its own fat, and a place calling itself a carnitas merchant is telling you it does one thing. Nothing approved has written about this door, so I have no dish, no cook and no opinion to hand you.
Good to know
- Where: Av. Benito Juárez, in the Centro. The saved address stops at the avenue and carries no street number.
- Nobody has checked it since Jeff pinned it in 2023. It publishes no site, nothing approved covers it, so treat the hours as unknown and ring ahead.
Verdict
listed — Jeff put it on his Playa list and wrote nothing beside it, and nobody I am allowed to cite has written about it either. The name is the only fact doing any work: carnitas Michoacán style, on Avenida Benito Juárez near the ferry. I could not confirm the door is still trading, there is no street number in anything I read, and the search results were all banned sources or auto-generated listing pages. It is a listing, and it will stay one until somebody with a byline eats there.
