Chenin Restaurant
Kunanun Lertpisiku, off the team behind Asok Pi Shop, cooks pastas, flatbreads, and a seasonal card in a tucked-away Sukhumvit 31 wine room that hands its kitchen to a different guest chef each week.
Why go
The published record is thin, so here is what is actually pinned. BK Magazine logged it as a 2023 opening and framed the cooking as "something between Michelin-caliber meals with globe-trotting references and wine fare." Time Out's May 2026 piece treats it as a going concern with "thoughtful food and natural wine list," covering the Czech artist exhibition on its walls: "contemporary art now quietly coexists with candlelight and natural wine." Jeff clocked it as new in 2025; the record says 2023, with signs of a 2024 refit that may explain the impression. The natural and orange wine list and the weekly guest-chef rotation are the draws to plan around.

- Avoid: weekday daytime; service starts at 5pm Monday to Friday, with brunch on weekends only.

- Note: Hip new place in 2025
Verdict (Chef Jeff ladder)
listed — A candlelit Sukhumvit 31 wine room where an Asok Pi Shop alum cooks pastas and flatbreads between weekly guest chefs, with natural wine and a rotating art program. The elements are appealing and Time Out vouches for the thoughtfulness, but with no full critical review, no award, and no documented signature dish, there is nothing yet to hang a detour on. On the board; promote on evidence.
