A day out to Loch Leven
Loch Leven · 4 stops · 2 legs · 3 with pages
Kinross sits on the west shore of Loch Leven, north of Edinburgh over the Forth.
A made path follows most of the shore, which is what turns this into a day rather than a stop. Kinross holds the coffee on the west side, and the farm shop and the old toll bar sit on the east at Wester Balgedie, about ten minutes round by road.
Park in Kinross, walk or ride as much of the shore as you want, and eat on whichever side you end up on. The castle is on an island and the boat runs from the town pier in season, so check before you count on it.
Three rooms carry pages and the castle stands on its own name. All three rooms are Jeff's own saves off his Scotland list, and none of them is written up yet, so each page holds a name, a town and a pin.

The High Street runs down towards the pier, and the roastery is on it.

Wester Balgedie and Channel Farm face the town from the far side, ten minutes round the top of the loch.
